Lovely Little Lava

Every piece of Drops of Gratitude jewelry incorporates lava stones. There are only ever a few of them but they are the definitely more important then the beautifully colored earth gems and tiny adornments. Lava stones are an incredible piece of earth. Containing elemental powers of fire and earth, lava rocks are rich in minerals from deep in the earth’s core. Born from fire, the molten rises to the surface and becomes a beautiful, porous piece of stone. Fire, one of the most powerful elements, is commonly associated with the qualities of energy, assertiveness, and passion, while earth is commonly associated with qualities of practicality, restraint and materialism.

Lava is considered a good tool for grounding and protection, helping us get connected to the earth. Lava also allows us to ‘root’ scattered energy and find focus and balance.

When designing our pieces, we spend a lot of time and love in deciding what intentions we are trying to create. Our we looking for balance, energy, love, connection? Once we have determined the vibe we want, its time to get to work. The creation process is one that takes a lot of energy but what is born in the process consistently reminds us of why we are in this business. To empower and inspire people. We have the power to choose our moods, our thoughts and ultimately our feelings. Take back some of that control.

When you get your bracelet. Take a couple minutes and really think about the things in your life that are no longer serving you. What can you do to change that? Set your intention, slip your bracelet on and wear it as a reminder that you’ve got this. You are as powerful as fire and as balanced as the earth. Don’t ever forget that you are a perfect creation. So fill your heart with intention, get out there and live your beautiful life.
